Full day immersion into the tradition of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, designed to give new and existing students the confidence to develop a home practice, deepen understanding of the elements of Ashtanga Yoga and raise awareness of the importance of self-practice in yoga.
- 7-9am Led Primary Series class (open to drop in students also)
- 9-10am break
- 10-12pm Introduction, history and components of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. Methodological asana workshop to deepen understanding of the energetic qualities of the postures, the art of sequencing and principles of alignment.
- 12-1pm lunch break
- 1-3pm Philosophy, Mantra, Pranayama and Vinyasa/Inversion workshop.
All students will receive their own Primary Series chart to assist and encourage self practice following the workshop, and will have to option to sign up for a follow up Mysore* style class at the studio.

*Mysore style class allows for students to come and deepen their individual practice in the presence of a teacher, who is able to offer assists, adjustments and advice. This is not a led class but an opportunity to seek advice during self-practice.
